Before you book

All passengers must come to the agency the day before the tour for the equipment fitting, between 3:00 pm and 6:30 pm.

Overview

One 45-minute snorkel session in the channel at Kicker Rock, then a landing at Punta Pitt and a two-hour walk up to Cerro Pitt for the red-footed booby. Two of the island's signature sites in a single day.

Agency check-in at 7:00 am. At 7:15 am the group heads to Muelle Acuario I and meets the naturalist guide.

First is Kicker Rock, a mass of volcanic lava standing upright out of the sea. One snorkel session of about 45 minutes, starting from the channel between the two rocks; ocean conditions may send the group to another part of the rock.

The second site is Punta Pitt, where passengers land and walk about two hours round trip up to Cerro Pitt for the red-footed booby, along with other boobies, pelicans, frigatebirds and finches. Return to port around 5:00 pm, depending on ocean conditions.
