Overview

A full circuit of San Cristobal taking in five sites: Rosa Blanca, Punta Pitt, Bahia Sardina, Cerro Brujo and Kicker Rock. Snorkeling, beaches, red-footed boobies and a natural stone arch in one day.

Agency check-in at 7:00 am; at 7:15 am to Muelle Acuario I to meet the naturalist guide and begin the circuit. Five sites: Rosa Blanca, Punta Pitt, Bahia Sardina, Cerro Brujo and Kicker Rock (Leon Dormido).

At Rosa Blanca you snorkel in the lagoon, where turtles, rays, sea lions and reef sharks are possible, with time on the beach. The boat then passes Punta Pitt islet, the only place on the island where you can see the red-footed booby. Depending on ocean conditions there is sport fishing here for tuna and wahoo.

Lunch is served on board at Bahia Sardina, then a landing for a walk, time on the beach and optional snorkeling. At Cerro Brujo a naturally formed arch known as the cathedral is good for photographs, endemic birds around it.

Kicker Rock is the last stop, and the day's final snorkel session. You may see Galapagos sharks, hammerheads, turtles, manta rays, sea lions and many kinds of fish, with frigatebirds, boobies, petrels and lava gulls around the rock. Return around 5:00 pm, depending on ocean conditions.
