All passengers must come to the agency the day before the tour for the equipment fitting, between 3:00 pm and 6:30 pm.
Overview
Two 45-minute snorkel sessions at the sheer lava tower off San Cristobal: first through the channel between the two rocks, then the west corner. Galapagos sharks, hammerheads and turtles move below you. A beach landing follows.
Agency check-in at 7:45 am, then at 8:00 am the walk to Muelle Acuario I to meet the naturalist guide and set off.
Kicker Rock rises straight out of the sea, a mass of volcanic lava. Two snorkel sessions of about 45 minutes each: the channel between the two rocks, then the west corner. Ocean conditions may move the group elsewhere on the rock, or make it one longer session. You may see Galapagos sharks, hammerheads, turtles, manta rays and sea lions, with boobies, pelicans and frigatebirds around the rock.
The boat then lands at a beach, Manglesito, Puerto Grande or Cerro Brujo depending on the vessel's itinerary, for a walk and more snorkeling. Return to port around 3:00 pm, depending on ocean conditions.
