Overview
A two-hour crossing to Espanola, a walk at Punta Suarez among albatross and marine iguanas, then a single 45-minute dive at Gardner Bay with reef sharks, turtles and rays.
Check-in at the agency at 7:00 a.m., Muelle Acuario I at 7:15 a.m. to meet the naturalist guide and begin the two-hour crossing to Espanola.
Punta Suarez first, a walk of about two and a half hours where you may see albatross, blue-footed and Nazca boobies, finches, the Galapagos hawk and marine iguanas. It ends at a small beach, then back on board for lunch.
The boat moves to Gardner Bay for one dive, about 45 minutes at 15 to 18 meters, visibility 15 to 25 meters. Reef sharks, sea lions, sea urchins, starfish, turtles, rays and many fish are possible. The return crossing reaches port around 5:00 p.m., depending on ocean conditions.

Good to know
Itinerary subject to change at the discretion of the Galapagos National Park and your naturalist guide; the dive may come before the walk depending on ocean conditions. Water temperature January to July 22 to 25 C, August to December 16 to 18 C. Bring sunscreen, cap, sunglasses, water bottle, closed shoes and personal items. Divers with their own gear may leave it at the agency the day before.
