Overview
A deep cave dive to 35 meters, entered one diver at a time on the instructor's signal, then a second 45-minute dive along Pared de Tijeretas. Dive lights included.
Check-in at the agency at 8:00 a.m., Muelle Acuario I at 8:15 a.m. to meet the dive instructor and set out.
First dive at Cuevas de Hitler. A line runs from the surface down to the caves on the sea floor, and divers enter one at a time on the instructor's directions. Maximum depth is 35 meters, the dive runs about 45 minutes, visibility 10 to 25 meters. Sea lions, rays, reef sharks, pufferfish, barracuda, tuna, turtles, sea urchins, starfish, moray eels, lobsters and octopus are possible. Out of the cave, divers circle back to the ascent line, depending on air reserves.
Snacks, drinks and about an hour of surface interval follow. Fifteen minutes away is Pared de Tijeretas, about 45 minutes at 12 to 18 meters, visibility 10 to 20 meters, with sea lions, reef sharks, batfish, rays, pufferfish, barracuda, turtles, starfish, moray eels, lobsters and octopus possible.
Port around 1:00 p.m., depending on ocean conditions.

Good to know
Itinerary subject to change at the discretion of the Galapagos National Park and your dive instructor, depending on ocean conditions. Water temperature January to July 23 to 25 C, August to December 18 to 22 C. Surface interval of about one hour between dives. Bring sunscreen, cap, sunglasses, towels, water bottle and personal items. Divers with their own gear may leave it at the agency the day before.
