Overview
Ride down from Cerro Mesa to El Garrapatero beach, about 19 km from Puerto Ayora, with time to snorkel. Finish at a trapiche to see how sugar cane spirit and coffee are made by hand.
The day starts at 08:30 with hotel pick-up and a bike and helmet fitting, then a vehicle to the Cerro Mesa entrance, where the ride begins.
From there it is a descent to El Garrapatero beach, roughly 19 km from Puerto Ayora, across the landscapes of Santa Cruz. Time to rest there, with optional snorkeling in the calm water.
Then a trapiche, for the island's farming traditions and the artisanal process behind sugar cane spirit and coffee. At 15:00 the vehicle takes the group back to Puerto Ayora and the hotel.
