Overview

A day around Pinzon Island and La Fe Islet: a landing among marine iguanas and boobies, a circuit of Roca Sin Nombre, snorkeling with reef sharks and rays, and optional recreational fishing.

The day starts at 08:30 from the Passenger Dock. About 20 minutes out is La Fe Islet, with a landing to explore. Marine iguanas, sea lions, frigatebirds and blue-footed boobies use the rocky site, among mangrove vegetation.

Back on board there is a snack: tea and coffee, juice or water, bread and crackers with jam or butter, and seasonal fruit.

Another 40 minutes takes the boat to Pinzon Island, passing Roca Sin Nombre (Pan de Azucar) for a circumnavigation. You may see the Galapagos hawk. About 45 minutes of recreational fishing is optional; possible catches include grouper, yellowfin tuna and pompano.

Snorkeling can bring tropical and subtropical fish, reef sharks, sea lions, rays, sea turtles and possibly dolphins.
